Antique 1811 copper-plate engraving titled "A Sarcophagus from the Borghese Collection" (Plate 142), drawn and published by British engraver Henry Moses. Features an intricate classical Roman sarcophagus design with relief figures, garlands, and corner masks.
Beautifully framed in a double-matted, heavy wooden ornate frame with black wood outer border and antiqued gold gilt floral scroll inner trim. Includes paper backing, hanging wire, and original maker/catalog labels.
