Vintage handcrafted Swiss Alpine chalet wooden music box and trinket / jewelry box. Features intricate architectural details including shuttered windows with flower boxes, a carved water trough basin, a porch bench, and a shingled roof with miniature stone accents. The hinged roof opens to reveal an interior storage compartment. Wind-up mechanical movement on the underside plays "Polka Luxembourgeoise" (retains original song label). In very good vintage working condition with lovely natural wood patina.
